Yes I wept like a kid
Not believing your word
Not knowing that you really meant it
And you left me to cry forever
I sought refugee under a shade
But I could not help sweating
The air that I was breathing was all smoke and fire
But you left me to cry for ever
I could watch you from a distance
Mixing spits and frowns
As I shivered in despair
And you left me to cry for ever
When my wells of sweat ran dry
Left was a sob after a sob
But I was sure you are gone
As you had left me to cry forever
Yes I paid for the sins of the past
But I still believe its not the best way I should have done so
An apology could have been better
Yet you chose to leave me forever
What else could I have done,
Than to grab an offered hand of a passerby
And listern to words of encouragement
When I was left to cry forever
