I spit on the ground

I really never new what it is to lose a boy
Until I met you and lost you
To the little chick hat passed past us on our strolling day
And managed to draw your eye for a time longer than I thought

Really I never knew,
I confirm I am hurt to the bone
When I see her again I spit on the ground and hold my breath

I remember your lovely voice and never thought of losing it
It is as fresh now as it spoke then
Assuring me that special place in your heart
Now it hurts to let you pass by
With your arm round that little girl
Who softly leans on you as if to make me cry

Now walk fast past my place
I hate to see you two passing through my door
Unshamably carrying stolen love

I wish I could spit in your faces
But whenever I see you, you are way far from me
Therefore I spew on the ground and hold my breath
