I am nothing different

A fool as I might appear in my silence
Dull as you might deduce from my slow speech
Shy as seen from my hidden giggle
Bright and wise as my work portrays

You may think I am genius
Or that I am better read and experienced
And presume I see better or hear better
But I am nothing different

I hear what you hear and see what you do see
Feel how you feel and think how you think
Only that I write what my senses gather and you do not
In totality, I am nothing better or worse
