Under a shade sits a Chinese girl
With her outer jacket covering her handy phone on her lap.
Appears casual, and comfortable
But she is waiting for something or someone
Some yards away stands a man,
Silent and rather unpredictable
Distinct is his large belly,
That curves his oversize shirt well away from his thigh
And the unusual glare to the ground
Suddenly he turns to the girl
Walks fast and straight towards her
Hearing the foot steps, the lady looks up
Astonished and frightened, springs and moves away fast
Looking over her shoulder, she sees the man, sitting right on her place
So the spirit of conquest still rules?
If a tummy leads into this behaviour,
Surely it’s a stupid tummy.
